THE POWER OF CAMO

As my first blog post, I’m gonna start off by saying how different I am from traditional fashion bloggers. I do not have any sort of particular style, I like what I like and that changes with my moods daily. Someday’s I like to be sporty, classic, others more hip or grunge with street influence, different times I like to be super fun and retro in reference to the past. So for your personal knowledge do not expect any one particular style because that is just not me. For this first look I chose to keep it casual for a shopping day in Soho. This particular day I was doing a lot of walking so I chose to wear my brand new Rag & Bone zip up ankle boots, which I found at a HUGE steal at a Saks off Fifth location in Conneticut. I paired these with my new fab camo culottes from Zara, which really are culottes on the model, but considering I’m 5 foot they look more like a wide leg pant on me, but still super cute in my opinion, these come at $50. I put a casual Nordstrom B.P. v-neck tee with this, slightly tucked in the front and of course… my GG belt! I felt I wanted a fun color pop with this look so I placed red fringe earrings from Forever21 and a fun rainbow stripe purse from Zara, $50 as well. I love this look for a casual day in the city because it feels comfortable, yet edgy and fun. I absolutely love camo, I probably own 3 pairs of camo pants now, but these are a new staple in my closet that would look super cute dressed up with heels and a blouse for dinner! It really is true, camo is a cool power statement for the fall!
